Welcome!

         

     For openers, you should know I've worked as a nurseryman, a dredger, a newspaper reporter, a ghostwriter, an editor, a media consultant, and lately as a college instructor. Mostly, though, I've worked as a freelance writer for such publications as TV Guide, Men's Health, Los Angeles Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Men's Fitness, and dozens of other publications and websites. I've also written several non-fiction books for such publishers as Warner, Gotham Books, Rodale Press, and Barron's; and several children's books in the non-fiction library market. My website.

     I hold a Master's Degree in English Literature, and a Master's Degree in Communications. Here at Saddleback College, I teach English 1A, English 1B, and Feature Writing.
