C6 Version of Book is Recommended. You may buy the CS6 online version of book for $35. You may purchase either theCS5, CS4 or CS3 version of book. You may use either CS5 or CS6 Dreamweaver (DW) software.

Fall class will have optional in-class sessions, all lectures done using CS5, Blackboard has CS5 & CS4 videos. But CS6 software and CS5 book are recommended. Blackboard, questionnaire and home pages will be available by first week of classes. You may use either a previous version of Dreamweaver or purchase the most recent version. California community college students can buy Adobe Web Web Premium for $355 or Just DW for $119.. Class Overview

Adobe Dreamweaver is the premier HTML Web Page IDE (integrated developers environment) for creating Web Pages. All my class web sites were created using Dreamweaver. CS6 Web Premium the which includes the Latest version of Dreamweaver,Flash, Fireworks, Contribute, Photoshop and Illustrator is available for $355 to CCC Students at USCollegeBuy.com, you cannot beat these prices..

Class has an introduction to creating, publishing and testing documents on a Web server. Course will cover Internet concepts, Web site management, linking, FTP, basic HTML, typography, tables, page layout, tracing elements, layers, and frames. Requires no previous Web development experience. A combination of CIM 278A and 278B may be taken a total of four times.

JavaScript-jQuery Fall In-class 1st 8 Weeks. JavaScript it the client side scripting language for Web Pages jQuery has become the most popular JavaScript framework. A Framework is a collection prewritten JavaScript code that is specifically tailored to Web-site development.	CSS CIM272 Fall/2012 Tuesday 6-9PM Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is the future of Web Design, popular sites like MySpace and blogger.com use CSS to bring desktop publishing capabilities to Web pages. CSS is relative easy to learn, it is just one step up from HTML, the course CIM272 CSS is offered both online and in class the second 6 weeks right after CIM278A. CIM289 CSS covers all basic components of CSS. Note chapters 3 and chapter 7, the last two chapters covered in CIM278A are offered online in CSS.
Adobe Fireworks is the Web photograph bitmap editor and Web Draw program. Fireworks is an easy to use IDE (integrated Developers environment) for creating Menus, Hot Slices and roll covers. Together with Flash and Dreamweaver you can easily become a full featured Web Designer. Fireworks CIM281may be offered Spring/2012. Dreamweaver is the premier HTML editor for Web Design.	Adobe Flash Flash is the premier 3D Web animation package. CIM264A is Fall/2011 Thursday 7-9:50PM right after CIM278a.
