You may work together in teams or alone. If you choose to work in teams, I need to know who is on your team and what each member will be doing.
The extra credit project will revolve around writing web based applets (little applications). Sample applets that will be discussed in class. The main thrust of this extra credit project is to create a casino web-site and gambling agents. Gambling agents will first go to a central Casino manager and receive locations and times of various on-line casinos. Agents will be able to play at your casino or at another classmates casino.We will be implementing a socket based communication mechanism. Since, we will have a protocol for online communication, don't begin an assignment before the start date.
In February we will be analyzing the battleship program. Sometime in March we will begin looking at this second extra credit project.
