The mission of the Saddleback College Foundation is to enhance the quality of higher education by gaining financial support for academic, athletic and cultural programs of Saddleback College. The Foundation initiates and coordinates college and community fund raising in support of Saddleback College and its students. By raising funds for scholarships and other programs, which directly benefit students, the Foundation is committed to increasing student success and the enhancing the excellent education offered by Saddleback College. Guided by a group of dedicated community leaders, the Foundation strives to make higher education attainable for all in South Orange County.
The Saddleback College Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as an IRS 501(c)3, Tax ID #33-0390547.
The following groups operate under the auspices of the Saddleback College Foundation and raise funds for specific college program areas:
KSBR (88.5-FM) friends support the commercial-free contemporary jazz and community information station serving Orange County from Saddleback College. KSBR trains the college's communication arts students.
Angels for the Arts support the summer musical theatre program, the Saddleback Civic Light Opera headquartered at Saddleback College, and the college performing arts.
Thanks to the Athletic Associates, Saddleback College is known as having one of California's best overall community college athletic programs. Excellent coaches and facilities serve highly competitive men's and women's teams in all 18 sports.
Friends of the Library promote the interests of the Saddleback College Library as a cultural, educational, research and recreational part of the College and the community.
Alumni Network members have graduated or participated in some way with Saddleback College. The Association serves to re-establish friendships and support the students and activities of Saddleback College.
