Library Space

Whereas SOCCCD Board Policy 6132 states that, “The library is an integral part of a college and its instructional programs,” and

Whereas SOCCCD Board Policy 6132 states that, “The library must meet academic standards consistent with higher education accreditation guidelines and purposes, and

Whereas the college for many years has advocated recovering space in use by the district and the accrediting commission has recommended that district services should relocate to an off-campus location,

Be it resolved that the Saddleback College Academic Senate supports the Board of Trustees decision to relocate district offices away from the library.
