Mrs. Nathan joined Saddleback College's Division of Health Sciences and Human Services in Fall of 2012 where she currently teaches Insurance Reimbursement, CPT Coding and ICD Coding in the Medical Assisting Program.
Mrs. Nathan's journey to Saddleback began in 2002, when she completed the Administrative Medical Assisting Program. She continues to work in the industry as the Billing Coordinator for TLC Pediatrics, and the Owner/CEO of E-Medical Billing Services INC.
She remains a member of the Medical Assisting Advisory Board at Saddleback College.
Mrs. Nathan became a Certified Professional Coder CPC in 2013.
As an Instructor at Saddleback College, Mrs. Nathan has taught several courses within the Medical Assisting Program and The HIT Program including; Insurance Reimbursement, Management of Resources, Directed Practice II , Introduction of the HealthCare Delivery Systems, Financial Office Procedures, Computer Applications of Electronic Health Records, CPT Coding, and Advanced Coding.
Mrs. Nathan is committed to student success and introducing the billing world to them.
In her spare time, Mrs. Nathan enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, family, and continuing her education.
