Paramedic

The paramedic profession offers an exciting career for both men and women. Personal goals and dreams of a career in public service can be realized through the Paramedic Education Program. As the official provider of Paramedic Education for Orange County, Saddleback College provides the education necessary to develop competent paramedics and provides for the continuing development of the student as an individual.

The Paramedic Program requires a combination of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) licensure and a minimum of one year emergency response experience; therefore, it is necessary to obtain such coursework and experience prior to entering the program. For more information on the EMT-P program, click the application process link on the left side of this page.
