Guest Speakers
THE MAC GUYS - iTunes U and Unlocking the 21st Century Learner

Today's students face a complex world, rich with media and technology, with more demands on their time and attention, and a consumer-like expectation of their educational experience. Community Colleges face shrinking budgets, increased costs, increased competition from for-profit schools, and fight a constant struggle to meet the technology expectations of their changing student demographic.

Come see a presentation from Apple that addresses these concerns in an exciting new way. This is not just podcasting, but an alternative teaching model that links technology to the pedagogy in a far less obtrusive and innovative way.

You have seen the commercials now come see the groundbreaking product in action. Apple will show you how this device is changing the face of education and show you how other instructors at Saddleback are using these technologies to reach current and incoming students.
