The
Saddleback starter kit
is a compressed (winzip)
file containing all of the files that will help you apply standard
Saddleback features (look and navigation bars) to your web pages.
The Starter Kit Template follows our college design and approved
colors. This will help you keep your web pages up to date
and cohesive with the main college web site. If you experience
any problems with this starter kit, please feel free to contact
User Services for
further assistance.

files provided by Dreamweaver containing all of the files that
will help you create a quick Faculty web site that includes all
the information you might want your students and potential students
to access. If you are already familiar with Dreamweaver, these
templates are perfect for you. Download the instructions to use

TOOL #3

FOR USE WITH MICROSOFT®
PUBLISHER 2002 ONLY )
This tool requires no special downloads. The only requirement
would be having Microsoft® Publisher on your computer. Download

The only requirement would be having Microsoft® Word on your
computer. HTML cleanup form.

MASTHEAD.PSD
(Right Click and Save As) |
This Photoshop
image is the layered banner for creating your own customized masthead
at the top of each of your web pages. If you make the changes in
Photoshop and "save as" a "masthead.gif" in
your web site directory, all of your web pages located within that
same folder will start using your new masthead file. Remember this
type of file requires Adobe Photoshop 5.5 or greater to open and
make changes.

This file is
a simple text document that opens up in Notepad or DreamWeaver.
To create easier navigation for your viewers, type your web site
links into this file and upload it to your remote folder on the
www.
Please follow this format. Notice the link is before the title
and has been separated by a comma. This controls where the template
separates the title from the URL link within the pulldown menu.

This
file should reside in your local work folder in the "templates"
directory. When you open a new file, you will highlight the template
from the "template" palette, and click apply. When the page
is sent back to the "remote" host - iserver - it will show
up with the standard Saddleback template. |
