Hiring of interns: CA & Federal Laws explained
1. POST A JOB or Internship for FREE with Gaucho Jobs
*** For-credit internships fall under our Cooperative Work Experience program. Students must secure a position, then enroll in a class for the credit. Employer responsibilities are listed on the CWE website.
2. RECRUIT ON CAMPUS:
Employers can recruit on campus. The Career Placement Office supports employers by offering a table/chairs/canopy to conduct your recruitment in our Quad areas at no charge.
We request a two week advanced notice of your planned recruitment visit to campus. If this is not possible, please submit your request as soon as possible. Requests made within 5 days may not be able to be approved. Also, recruitment visits may not be approved if other events are scheduled in the Quad area.
All recruiting visits will receive 1table, 2chairs, and a canopy (if available). You will receive email confirmation that your visit has been approved.
Typical hours for on-campus recruitment are 10am - 1pm, Monday through Thursday. We request that employers conduct on-campus recruitment at their assigned tables. Recruiting in other areas and in buildings is not encouraged.
