The Job Search / Placement Services office guides, educates, and instructs students in the areas of resume writing, job search, and interviewing techniques. Establishing and building partnerships with local, national, and international business leaders is key to our success. I am the administrator of several online systems including Gaucho Jobs, the official employment system for students and alumns of Saddleback College. Additionally, Perfect Interview is an online system allowing students to practice interviewing from any computer.

I am actively using social media including Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin to provide students and employers with effective, efficient, and cutting-edge connection to job leads and resources.

I am available for individual appointments with students and offer group workshops throughout the week, but my schedule is full 2-3 weeks in advance. Please inform students to plan ahead.

I am also available for in-class presentations on the following topics: Resume, Interviewing, Job Search.

With the economic conditions and limited staffing support, my response time to both employers and students will be delayed. Please be patient, use email to contact me, and understand that I am doing the best I can to provide quality service to everybody.

ASSIGNMENT #1: LINKEDIN a. Business Communications / Job Search Assignment using Linkedin CLASS ASSIGNMENT 2: Create a Custom Interview for a class to take as an assignment, extra credit, or skill development. (You will need to coordinate with me to create a 'custom interview' for your class prior to giving this assigment. After students take the interview, they will 'share'/email the interview to you for submission/review. The Perfect Interview does not rate/critique interviews.) a. Post a Job for FREE using Gaucho Jobs Reserve at table for On-Campus Recruitment (FREE) Read the On-Campus Recruitment section of the Gaucho Jobs Employer Guide. Employers can host a Recruitment Table on campus. On-Campus Recruitment must be requested through the Gaucho Jobs system. OCR is held in the SSC Quad (Pic 1 Pic 2) We request 3-5 day advanced notice if you need a table/chair(s) to be provided. OCR is typically held M-Th from 10-2pm, but you can request anytime that works for your recruitment schedule. ***Some dates are unavailable due to other scheduled programs on campus.
