About the Learning Resource Center (LRC)

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is a newly remodeled space that includes the library, tutoring center, and computer lab as well as many resources to support student success. 


Inside the Learning Resource Center (LRC)

3rd floor 
  • Library - Check out books and borrow textbooks
    • Quiet study rooms can be reserved online  
    • Library workshops and classes are available for help with computer skills and research  

    2nd floor 


    • Tutoring Center (LRC 212) - Free tutoring is available for individuals or groups, by appointment (English/Humanities), and drop-in (Math/Science)  


    • Language Lab and Computer Lab - The computer lab has stations for completing Language Lab hours as well as other school-related work 


    • Writing Center and Reading Lab - Students enrolled in certain classes are required to complete lab hours in addition to classroom time 


    • Study rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis

    What's New?


    The renovation has increased the usable space of the LRC building by 4,500 square feet, with a total usable area of 81,000 square feet. These spaces include hundreds of computer work stations, 18 classrooms, 12 small-group study rooms, 18 new offices for faculty and staff in the Fine Arts and Media TechnologyLiberal Arts, and Online Education and Learning Resources divisions, five labs, and two conference rooms.
