California Future Educators Association Youth Summit

Saddleback will host Project Tomorrow’s annual California Future Educators Association Youth Summit in partnership with the Teacher Preparation Pipeline Program on Friday, May 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Over 150 of California’s best and brightest high school students interested in education and child care careers will attend this year’s conference. The program will host a panel of current college/university students pursuing a career in education, college professors, current K-12 teachers, and more! Among other highlights, these students will get a first-hand experience of what it takes to be an educator and what services Saddleback College provides to help them along the way. The conference will consist of three breakout sessions with students and teachers choosing from various topics of interest including: “The 21st Century Classroom: Meaningful Ways to Use Technology;” “Preschool Pathways and Practice;” “Undergraduate Preparation for Future K-12 Teachers”, and; “Hands on STEM Education.”
