International Education Week Kick Off

International Education Week 

The International Student and Diversity Council of ASG is proud to celebrate International Education Week 2013 at Saddleback! International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States. Please join us for the activities listed below:

Day 1: Tuesday, November 12th, 2013, SSC Quad
10am-1pm: Language Exchange Table
10am-1pm: Design Your Own Flag
12pm-12:30pm: International Dance Performance
11:30am-12:30pm: Food Served

Day 2: Wednesday, November 13th, 2013, Gaucho Lounge (SSC 211)
10am-11am: Study Abroad Opportunities in Peru, Spain, Oxford and Ireland through Saddleback College
11am-11:30am: International Hot Topics (snacks and drinks served)
11:30am-12:30pm: Everything You’ve Ever Wondered About U.S. Immigration – A Discussion With Attorney and Former Immigration Officer Jeff Khurgel

Day 3: Thursday, November 14th, 2013, Gaucho Lounge (SSC 211) and "The Bowl" next to Health Science Building
11:30am-12pm: Saddleback Scholarship Presentation (SSC 211)
12pm-12:30: English as a Second Language Department Offerings at Saddleback (SSC 211)
1pm-2pm: Kickball on "The Bowl" (grassy area near Health Science Building)
