“Writings on the WALL,” a public reading/discussion of literature and artwork featured in the 2013 edition of WALL Literary Journal, will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, in HS 145.
Poems, short stories, and personal essays from this year’s journal will either be read by their authors or performed as an oral interpretation. Artists and photographers will discuss the creative process behind their work.
Published annually, WALL Literary Journal displays the writing and artwork of Saddleback College students. The 128-page publication is produced by students who are enrolled in English 160 (Literary Magazine). Staffers are involved in reviewing and selecting submissions; proofreading and copyediting; design and layout; and publicity.
The journal is now accepting submissions for the 2014 edition.
