Saddleback College’s Community Education program has set its After-School Experience schedule to include six-week sessions to be offered throughout the 2013/14 academic year. The next session will begin the week of November 18th and will include more than 250 classes at local elementary, middle, and high schools. The program offers art, science, cooking, sports, and academic enrichment classes, which are taught by Capistrano Unified School District (CUSD) teachers and professional experts. All classes will be held on the school sites and will follow school dismissal times.
In preparation of the After-School Experience program, Saddleback College Community Education assessed the needs of the school sites, transitioned successful existing after-school classes, and formed new partnerships to meet the after-school educational and enrichment needs of local students and families. More exciting classes are being planned for the remainder of this academic year as well as for summer 2014.
