The Freshman Advantage Program is designed for new incoming freshman of any age that will be attending Saddleback College in the Fall 2018 Semester. This program offers new freshman the opportunity to apply early, complete the Matriculation Process early, receive an early Freshman Advantage registration time, and enroll in classes before the majority of continuing students. Students that complete the mandatory steps 1 - 4 no later than April 13, 2018 are eligible for these benefits.
Once you have completed a Fall 2018 Saddleback College application,
please complete steps 1-4 no later than
April 13, 2018 to qualify for all the Freshman Advantage benefits.

Note: During the Freshman Advantage appointment, you will complete the English, reading, and math assessment exams. After your exam, you will have the option to attend a short in person advisement with a academic counselor. The counselor will assist you with the completion of your first semester education plan.

STEP #3 Attend Your Testing Session (on campus)
Attend Your Assessment Appointment! Arrive early and you must bring a photo ID, and know your Saddleback College student number. If you miss your assigned testing date, please repeat Step 2 listed above. Students will enter the building at Village 8-3 for assessment exams that are scheduled after normal business hours. Students that complete high school in California should also bring an official high school transcript or a copy of the official transcript to their testing appointment.
Parking passes are required at all times while on the Saddleback College campus. Daily passes are available from dispensers located in parking lots 1 and 1A (see map)

Check your Matriculation Status!
As the April 13, 2018 deadline approaches, make sure you check your Matriculation Status in your MySite. Log-in to your MySite and go to My Information > Matriculation > Matriculation Status. Make sure you have a completed status listing at the top of the page. See Image Below.
Please Note: Your Comprehensive Ed Plan is not part of the Matriculation Process but must be completed with a counselor when you have reached your 15th degree applicable unit or 3rd semester, whichever comes first.
Register For Classes in May 2018!
Check your registration date and time in your MySite in April 2018 and Register for your classes starting in May 2018. Check all other dates and deadlines on the Admissions website. It is recommended that you complete the optional steps listed below prior to the arrival of your registration date and time.
