Online Educator Program

The Online Educator Certificate Program offered at Saddleback College is an opportunity for instructors in colleges, high schools, middle schools and alternative schools to expand and/or improve their effectiveness in the classroom. Online instruction is being incorporated into courses in varying degrees and instructors not only need to know how to start the process, but also how to be effective. Saddleback College has created a six-course Occupational Skills Award program that will take you through design, teaching models, technology, effective interaction, universal design, and student assessment. Each course is 4 weeks and, because it is online, easy to manage into your busy schedule. Students can take the entire skills award program (6 courses) or simply take individual courses of their choosing.

This program is a must for instructors:

  • who have never taught online and want to learn the necessary skills
  • who are experienced online instructors but want to expand upon their skills
  • who would like to increase their marketability in today's economy

Each two unit course is $92 ($46 per unit)
