EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE FOR STUDENTS
The staff in the Center for Career and Life Development (CCLD) can provide assistance in completing necessary paperwork required by the Employment Development Department. Whether you're in the process of filing, or receiving benefit paperwork every 2 weeks, we can assist. For unemployment (EDD) information, workshops and assistance contact www.oconestop.com The CCLD staff are not counselors. If you need assistance with academic planning, you will need to see a counselor.

A support letter is no longer accepted by EDD for job training programs (CTB). We can help you with your forms that EDD provides after you research the academic program: The certificate you plan to seek including name, length, type, etc and potencial employment. Research about the industry and jobs where your certificate can be used. (OOH, O*Net, Myplan) Information about why you are choosing this path?	Drop-in Calendar: Bring your paperwork (complete the front prior to arrival) and a copy of your currently enrolled classes (or log-into Mysite for verification) We will try to assist every student that shows up, but you may not be assisted this day if there are several other students waiting. You may have to come back another day to complete your paperwork. * This schedule is subject to change without notice depending on the availablity of staff. Please check with the CCLD daily to ensure the schedule did not change. An appointment is suggested for any questions that may take more than 15 minates. *					Call us at 949.582.4575 to schedule an individual appointment for assistance with Re-Entry, Career Guidance, or Job Search Services Please plan ahead, it may take 2-3 weeks to get an appointment with us, we are severely impacted and just unable to assist everybody immediately.
