Registration Fees for Saddleback College Child Development Center

Registration and Enrollment

Each family will be responsible to pay a $75.00 per year, non-refundable registration fee payable upon initial enrollment and each September 1st thereafter. Student enrollment is first come, first serve at the beginning of each new semester's registration period. Students may enroll their child after they have enrolled in their Saddleback College courses. Saddleback College students ALWAYS have first priority for enrollment. Community registration is an ongoing enrollment depending upon availability of space after the Saddleback College students have enrolled. The Center keeps an ongoing waiting list for community children.

Tuition Rates effective September 1, 2008.

Students of Saddleback College who are enrolled in six (6) or more semester units may qualify for a discount from the above rates. Discounts are based on various financial determinations of need and the student will be required to complete a Student Discount Eligibility Form and submit it with proof for review for a possible discount.

Students receiving a discount are allowed to have their children at the Center while they are in class and any required lab hours. Study time is not considered class or lab time and will be charged at the full rate.

Tuition fees have been prorated for the entire year to include non-operational days. Tuition fees are paid in equal monthly installments taking into consideration that there are periodic holidays, inservice days, and vacations, therefore, there will be no reduction of fees for the months where holidays, inservice days, and vacations occur. The Center must provide adequate staffing at all times for the total number of children enrolled. No tuition credit will be given for any days the Center is closed or any day that a child is absent due to vacation or illness. Extra day will be granted depending upon availability of space and will be charged an hourly rate.

Tuition must be paid in full by the first of each month. The first month's tuition will be prorated if enrollment starts at anytime other than the first of the month. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged if payment is not received within the 7 day grace period. IF tuition is delinquent more than a week after the 7 day grace period, immediate withdrawal of your child may be required until the account is paid in full. In addition, a preregistration fee will be required before the child can return to the Center.
