The camp is designed for youth ages 7-23 years old, who use or could use a wheelchair to participate in sporting activities.

The camp provides instruction by experienced wheelchair athletes, equipment, sports wheelchairs, transportation, lunches and a lot of fun.

The 2009 Junior Athletic Wheelchair Sports Camp will be held April 10th and 11th, as usual the Friday and Saturday before Easter.

The application process for 2009 will be available to submit directly online in July.

JAWS 2007 was held on April 6th and 7th.

The Saddleback College Associated Student Government and the National Charity League are the camp sponsors.

A huge thanks to the Associated Student Government at Saddleback College for sponsoring the activities and the National Charity League for all the volunteers, cookies and water.

JAWS 2006

This years JAWS Camp brought 34 campers to Saddleback College. The camp's activities included Archery, Tennis, Hockey, Rugby, Weight Training, Bocce Ball, Croquet, Over-the-line (Softball), Swimming and Basketball.

A special Magic Show on Saturday was an additional highlight. Mad Mike again provided the burgers on Saturday with his Boosters staff and Jimmy Poetgen filled us up with giant Ball Park Pizzas on Friday.
