Susan White is a Master's prepared Registered Nurse who has taught in the Medical Assistant Program consistently since 2004. She is also a Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse, Instructor for Advanced Cardial Life Support, Basic Life Support and Pediatric Life Support as well as and instructor for Crisis Prevention Intervention. She has worked within the South Orange County Community for more than 20 years. She has served in a variety of professional roles which include: surgical services nurse manager, clinical nurse, and clinical nurse educator for critical care and ancillary departments.
Currently, she serves as Department Chair of the Medical Assistant Program at Saddleback College. She feels that this is by far her most rewarding position. She enjoys educating as well as mentoring our students. She works with the other Medical Assistant Program staff to help train our students to become the best medical assistants in our community. She is very proud to say that the Saddleback College Medical Assistant graduates are the best and they do get jobs after graduation!
