California Native American Material Cultures Workshop May 15th, 2010 Proudly sponsored by Western Digital Foundation Teacher's Workshop

On May 15th, 2010, from 9am-3pm, Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting a teacher's workshop. This educational event uses Island of the Blue Dolphin as a focus to introduce the tools and resources used by California's First Peoples.
Although developed for 3rd-5th grade teachers, this standards-based program will enlighten educators of all levels.

The workshop will feature hands-on activities designed to enhance your classroom presentations. Workshop handouts contain lessons plans, economical classroom activities, native songs and stories, and lots of fun facts.

Workshop fees are funded by a grant from the Western Digital Foundation. To register, fill out and return the attached Pre-Registration Form. Space is limited, early sign up is recommended.
