Welcome to Saddleback!  The College Advantage Program is a transition program for high school seniors with disabilities. (ex. students who utilize Special Education/IEP, RSP, 504 Plan, Directed Services and/or Modified Classes).

How to Apply

  1. Apply to Saddleback College online. You should receive an email with your student ID number within about 24 hours.  
  2. Apply to the DSPS Program and CAP using the online application. Make sure to indicate that you are currently in high school and in 12th grade.  Attach the following documents to your application:
    • Your most recent IEP/504 Plan (if applicable)
    • Your most recent Triennial/Multi-disciplinary Assessment Report (if applicable)
    • Your unofficial high school transcript
    • Any other disability verification documents such as information from your doctor/medical provider, etc. (if applicable)
  3. Keep an eye on your emails, voicemails, and texts, as our office will be contacting you over the next few months to schedule individual appointments with our counselors/specialists.

CAP Application Deadline

The 2024 CAP application priority deadline has now passed, but we are still accepting applications. Applications are processed in the order they are received.
