Academic Reading Center

The Academic Reading Center offers a multi-level reading program that includes both a range of developmental and college level classes and independent labs designed to improve vocabulary, reading comprehension, study skills, reading rates, spelling, and critical thinking.

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) for Higher Education

AVID for Higher Education is a Saddleback College campus-wide program aimed at increasing the academic and personal skills necessary for student success.

Bridges to Foster Student Success (BRIDGES) Program

The BRIDGES program is a student support program designed to assist current or former foster youth students with accessing postsecondary education while connecting them with resources both on and off campus.

California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs)

The California Community Colleges CalWORKs Program is a state-mandated and funded program that assists current cash aid eligible parents.

Child Care

The college Child Development Center offers services for children who are a minimum of 18 months of age and remain in the program up to their entrance into kindergarten.

Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS)

The DSPS program provides support services, specialized instruction, and authorizes educational accommodations for students with disabilities so that they can participate fully and benefit equitably in their college experience. 

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS/CARE)

EOPS is designed to assist students from educational and socioeconomic disadvantaged backgrounds by helping them prepare to transfer to four-year universities, complete an Associate Degree or achieve a vocational certificate.

International Students

The International Student Office provides services and support to all non-resident international students that have been granted an F-1 student visa.

Re-Entry Center

The Re-Entry Center helps men and women who are transitioning to college, changing careers, or finding a new direction in their lives by offering guidance and referrals to on and off campus resources and services.

Undocumented Students

The Undocumented Student Support webpage provides a variety of resources to our Dreamers, AB540 eligible students, and our undocumented students to support academic success.

Veterans Education and Transition Services (VETS)

The VETS program directly provides support services and acts as a bridge to external support services for student veterans, active military personnel, and their loved ones.
