You're a Returning Student if you've previously attended Saddleback or Irvine Valley College but have not enrolled for sufficient duration to receive a grade in either of the immediate previous two primary (spring
or fall) terms. Returning students must apply for admission to be assigned a registration appointment.

IMPORTANT: THE PRE-ENROLLMENT PROCESS MAY TAKE UP TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS TO COMPLETE.

  1. Submit an Application
    • Step 1: Create your OpenCCCApply Account
    • Step 2: Complete your Admissions Application
    • Step 3: Read your application email response from Saddleback College and follow the directions in the email.  It may take up to 24 hours for the application to be processed and an email sent.

  2. Apply for Financial Aid (optional)

  3. Complete Matriculation (if required) *

  4. Set up Email Forwarding
    • A Saddleback College email account is automatically created with 24 hours using the Microsoft Outlook.com system. You may choose to forward your message to your personal email account by following the directions in the link above.

  5. Register for Classes

  6. Pay all Registration Fees

Only one admission application is needed to take classes at both Saddleback and Irvine Valley Colleges. By completing your application here, Saddleback College will be your College of Record. If required to Matriculate, you must complete the matriculation process at the college where you applied (college of record).

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security Report

The Annual Security Report is available on the Saddleback College Police Department website at Saddleback College Police and Emergency Information | Saddleback College.

You can obtain a hard copy of the Annual Security Report by contacting the Saddleback College Police Department at 949-582-4585.

The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the College will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the College or a recognized student organization; and public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
