Accessible Parking and Guest Drop Off Area- Parking Lot 9
Accessible parking is available for disabled and elderly persons in Parking Lot 9. Please enter campus via Marguerite Parkway. Attendants at the parking lot will provide directions to drivers.
Accessible parking will also be available in limited, pre-designated areas on campus. They are available on a first come, first serve basis. All vehicles using accessible parking must have a DMV handicapped plate or placard.
Guests may also choose to park in other available parking spaces on campus.
Disabled and elderly passengers may be dropped off in Parking Lot 9. There will be signage to denote the drop off location. Shuttles will be available for individuals to ride to the Commencement location on the Quad. Shuttles will also be provided after the ceremony has concluded, to return individuals to Lot 9.
Guests may park in any parking lots available. Lots 9 and 10 are closest to the Quad where commencement will be held. You can find more parking lots using the campus map. https://www.saddleback.edu/uploads/maps/map.pdf
Tickets are not required for guests to attend the graduation ceremony. Please find a seat in any open space, leaving space in the front for those needing special accommodations. We will have an overflow area set up near the SSC Building.
Strollers and car seats are not allowed near the bleachers as they take up too much room and become a hazard for other guests. Please plan ahead with this in mind.
Also, please refrain from bringing balloons to the ceremony as they can block the view of other guests.
Disability Seating Information:
If a member of your family cannot sit in the bleachers, please see a Saddleback Commencement Volunteer on the floor wearing a Commencement Volunteer Lanyard for seating accommodations. Space is limited. We can only allow one escort per disabled/elderly guest. It is a good idea to arrive early to allow for sufficient parking and walking time.
Students with special needs will be seated in the first row. To arrange for special needs, please contact the DSPS Office at 949-582-4915.
Accessible wheelchair/scooter- seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. A Saddleback volunteer will escort the person and one escort to the seating area. Wheelchairs/scooters are not provided by the college.
The ceremony will be closed captioned on our LED Screens. We will also have interpreters on site on the left side of the stage.
Please see a Saddleback Commencement Volunteer or follow signs for stroller parking.
