    • ADT (AAT or AST)
    • AA, AS, or Certificate (low unit or traditional)
    • Non-Credit Certificate
    • Occupational Skills Award (OSA)

All substantial changes will require that the program follow the guidelines for a NEW program of the same type. Substantial changes include:

  • The goals and objectives of the program are substantially changed
  • TOP code change at the discipline level (e.g.; biological sciences (04) to health (12)
  • The job categories for which program completers qualify have substantially changed
  • The baccalaureate major to which students typically transfer has changed

Questions should be directed to your division's Curriculum Lead. Leads are listed on the right side of the webpage under the menu items.

Use the links on the menu bar to access details on how to design new programs (once the Program Initiation has been approved) or revise existing ones. Be sure to select the heading that pertains to the specific program type as well as whether it is NEW or REVISED.
