Business Department

The Business Department in the Business Science Division offers courses in all phases of business. Students in business courses focus on the fundamental and intermediate principles and practices of business and are designed to train students in the skills necessary to succeed in business.

Courses offered through the Business Department may be taken to satisfy the requirements for the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science Degrees, Certificates or Occupational Skills Awards in Business.

Many courses in the Business Department satisfy general education requirements and may also be applied for transfer credit toward an upper-division degree at a four-year college or university.

Business Degrees, Certificates and Occupational Skills Awards

The Business certificates and degrees are designed for the development of a high quality manager for whom there is an ever-growing need. The Business curriculum is structured to furnish a broad preparation for careers in business at the mid-management levels.
