Hi, I am Liz Jennison, and I am thrilled to be teaching at Saddleback College! I first discovered my passion for accounting as a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2002, and began my career in the accounting profession. I became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of California, and spent 12 years practicing accounting, both as a public accountant and in private industry. I also went back to school to obtain my Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in 2007. Throughout my career, I have been exposed to all types of companies - from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. I even owned my own bookkeeping business! But my favorite accounting job thus far has been teaching, which I started in 2014. I joined the faculty at Saddleback College in 2016 and teach Financial Accounting (ACCT 1A), Managerial Accounting (ACCT 1B), Auditing (ACCT 275), and Accounting Ethics (ACCT 210). I love sharing my passion for accounting with my students at Saddleback! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids - Kate (9), Nicholas (5), Joe (3).
