Eric Leonard Jones’s art has this ability to draw the viewer in as it establishes an intimate relationship with the art and the artist. He uses representational portraiture and abstraction to captivate the audience and draw them near. The process of the work is shown in almost every stage of the work which leaves the artist vulnerable.
Currently Jones is teaching at the famed Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and also Irvine Valley College. He also is a professional painter who shows in Los Angeles, Orange County, CA, and Southern Georgia.
