Japan Fest - Tale of Genji Anime

As part of Japan Fest, join us for a screening of Tale of Genji Anime, the world's first full-length novel, on Tuesday, October 1. Two showings will be offered, the first from 9 to 10:15 a.m. and the second from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., both in SSC 212. We will watch part of the 1987 anime version of the novel, with discussion and commentary before and after the event. Light refreshments will be offered.

Japan Fest is a yearly celebration of Japanese culture that will be held at  Saddleback College from October 1 – October 3.  Students, faculty, staff and our community members are invited to explore the many aspects of Japan during this fun and interactive event!
