Ariel Alexander- Commercial Music Applied Class
Dr. Ariel Alexander has gained recognition as a Los Angeles composer, producer educator and entrepreneur. Originally from St Louis, Ariel earned her B.A. at Indiana University and her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Southern California. Ariel has worked as an arranger, transcriber, orchestrator, copyist and performer for performances by Camila Cabello, Stevie Wonder, Eminem, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Steve Miller, John Mayer, Anderson.Paak, SZA, Miguel, Ella Mai, Juice WRLD, Bazzi, Nick Jonas, and many more. Her work has been performed at Super bowl 2020, Coachella 2018, the BET Awards, the American Music Awards and the MTV VMA Awards. She also served as an arranger for the Fox TV Show, “The Four.” She has also worked on the TV shows "The Masked Singer" and BET's "Sunday Best."
Sara Leib- Commercial Vocals
As a performer, Sara Leib, MM, has worked with some of the biggest names in the jazz genre and has toured the world as a performer and a clinician. A natural improviser, Leib began singing seriously in high school and continued to pursue music through studies at the Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory. She later found her passion for teaching while serving as graduate teaching assistantship at the University of Southern California, where she graduated with a master’s degree.
Since then, Leib has taught private voice lessons, ensembles, vocal improvisation, and workshops at several educational institutions in Southern California, including the University of Southern California and Azusa Pacific University. She also served on faculty of the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, El Camino College, and Los Angeles Music Academy College of Music. Leib has performed and taught all over the country and the world, including Guatemala, Nepal, New Zealand, and South Africa. She is a certified teacher of Somatic Voicework™, the LoVetri method.
In 2010, Leib opened Voice Studio LA and launched an interactive and easy-to-understand voice lesson website, Singing TV, which has has over a million views to date on Youtube. Leib has also worked on a vocal warmup app, Voxercise. Additional work has included serving as a panelist for the NARAS Foundation’s Grammy In The Schools, performing at the Academy Awards, voicing a Coffeemate commercial, and singing for the NBA, the WB, and more collaborations.
