Paramedic Program

Saddleback College has offered high quality paramedic education since 1988.  The program is full time and is completed in approximately 6.5 months.

Minimum Expectations

Paramedic: “To prepare competent entry-level Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and/or Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Responder levels.” 

PM 220  Didactic and skills

Class Meets Monday-Friday for approximately 12 weeks.

PM 230  Hospital Clinical

Individual 12 hr. shift schedules are followed for approximately 5 weeks.

PM 240  Field Internship

Students are assigned to a local preceptor team for 24-48 hour shifts for approx. 11 weeks.
