Paramedic Program

Saddleback College has offered high quality paramedic education since 1988.  The program is full time and is completed in approximately 6.5 months.

PM 220  Didactic and skills

Class Meets Monday-Friday for approximately 12 weeks.

PM 230  Hospital Clinical

Individual 12 hr. shift schedules are followed for approximately 5 weeks.

PM 240  Field Internship

Students are assigned to a local preceptor team for 24-48 hour shifts for approx. 11 weeks.

Program Statistics:  Retention is at 92%, with placement employment at 97%.  Passing the licensing Exam at 1st attempt is 85%, and 98% at subsequent attemps.
