Like you, I was a Saddleback student that was inspired about Child Development here on campus. Today, I am a mother of three boys that span from 23 to ten years of age. I live locally and enjoy being on the water with friends and family.
I have worked in the field of Early Care and Education for over 26 years. I hold a Master's in Human Development with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Oaks College. I started out as a Preschool Teacher and have enjoyed growing in my profession. I have been a Site Director, Accreditation Specialist, Area Manager for Head Start and a Coach and Mentor to Teachers and Directors participating in quality improvement.
I teach CDE 101 Principles and Practices of Teaching Young Children on campus here at Saddleback College and CDE 113 Math and Science Curriculum Early Childhood Education online. In addition, I also work for Orange County Department of Education in the Early Learning Services Department where I am the Quality Improvement Lead for Orange Counties' Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS).
Insuring that young children and families have access to quality early learning programs is just one of my passions. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in your endeavors.
