2014 - Present
I have been at Saddleback since January, 2016. As part of the faculty AVID team, I incorporate interactive learning into all of my classes, whether History 22 or History 16. I enjoy teaching for the diverse students I meet and the shared learning that happens every semester.
My specialty is American political history: the Constitutional Convention, the presidency, and the tilting of power in the realm of domestic policy away from Congress toward the executive branch.
My joys outside of the classroom: my family of 5 (plus a very large dog and odd cat), yoga, books, time with friends, the beach, Angels games and music concerts.
