Finding Your Career Path in Liberal Arts
Selecting a major or area of study in Liberal Arts can be the best choice for many college students. Given that Liberal Arts courses provide core communication skills such as critical thinking and reading; clear, analytic writing; and strong oral presentation ability, it should not be surprising that these qualities are the ones employers most want with new-hires, and frequently list as either missing or in short supply.
The Liberal Arts Division and its seven departments have created flyers that highlight how you can acquire the skills and the career success you desire. Please take a look at the flyers below, and should you have any questions, email the contact person identified for each flyer.
