Suki Fisher has taught all levels of composition, creative writing, and literature in her time at Saddleback College. Professor Fisher earned a BA in English with a writing emphasis from the University of San Diego, and both an MA in English literature and MFA in creative writing from Chapman University. This will be Professor Fisher’s sixth time leading the Oxford program, and she is excited to explore with her students the cultural landscape of England.

Curriculum

 

First 8-week Courses (January 16 - March 14, 2018)

 
  • ENG 1B - Principles of Composition II (3 units)
 

Students may enroll in other first 8-week courses.

 

Second 8-week Courses Taught in Oxford (March 21 - May 16, 2018)

 
  • ENG 18 - Shakespeare's Tragedies (3 units)
  • HUM 1 - Introduction to Humanities (3 units)
 

Full-Semester Course (January 16 - May 16, 2018)

 
  • ENG 27A - Introduction to the Novel (3 units)
 

This course will be taught at Saddleback College from January 16 - March 14, and in Oxford from March 21 - May 16, 2018.

In order to participate, students must enroll in the sections of ENG 27A, ENG 18 & HUM 1 that are offered through the program; distance education may be an option. The program fee is $5,895  (does not include flight) based upon an enrollment of 20 students. Please contact Suki Fisher for more information.
