Spend a week developing your improvisational skills with the Saddleback College Jazz Faculty!

Each day you will have a masterclass specializing in techniques specific to your instrument. Sessions, concerts, theory, aural skills, and private lessons will be offered culminating with our Friday afternoon concert.

  • Location: Fine Arts Complex, Saddleback College campus

At time of registration, be prepared to provide the following student information:

  • Instrument
  • Adult t-shirt size
  • Name of school
  • Grade level in Fall 2023

NOTE: Students are responsible for bringing their own instrument and lunch.

Spend a week this summer developing your cooking and baking skills with Chef Stacy. She will bring her experience from working as a Food Stylist for James Beard Award Winner, Chef Hubert Keller on Hubert Keller: Secrets of a Chef cooking show; Chef Instructor for Surfas Culinary District, Williams Sonoma, and Sur La Table.

Chef students will have the opportunity to build their confidence in the kitchen, and tackle exciting recipes all from SCRATCH! This hands-on, interactive cooking camp will focus on unique and delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert and everything in between. Students will be introduced to proper knife skills under direct supervision of the instructor, and find out what it's like to run their own kitchen. Getting hungry yet?

Students will receive a certificate of participation upon completion of the class.

NOTE: Recipes may contain dairy, wheat, nuts, and soy. Substitutions may be available, but not guaranteed. Please keep this in mind upon registration.

In this fun, hands-on class students will use the potter's wheel to create forms such as cups, bowls, and plates. They will also explore hand building, glazing, and other decorative techniques. Both functional and sculptural projects will be demonstrated. All skill levels are welcome.
