Assessment Testing

Due to the implementation of Assembly Bill 705, assessment testing for initial math and English placement has ended. Student that are required to complete the Matriculation Process, now use their high school transcript data or the Guided Self Placement tool to receive their initial math and English placement. Students seeking English as a Second Language placement may still be required to take an exam at this time.

Saddleback College still offers the assessment exams for the purposes of challenging your initial placement, clearing a prerequisite and/or to meet the Reading Competency requirement for the AA/AS degree. Please see the information listed below if you need to take an exam for one of the reasons listed above. Students do NOT take these exams to complete the Matriculation Process.
