Michelle Duffy joined Saddleback College in the spring of 2005 as a part-time faculty member in the Reading Department and became full-time in the fall of 2012. She currently serves as department chair and teaches a variety of reading classes including ENG 340: College Reading, ENG 180: Speed Reading and Comprehension Training, and ENG 70: Critical Reading.
Michelle is co-liaison of the AVID Campus Leadership Team, a member of the Curriculum Lead Team, and co-chair of the Basic Skills Initiative at Saddleback. Prior to joining Saddleback College, Michelle worked as a part-time lecturer at CSU, Fullerton and originally began her career in education as an elementary teacher.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, roller derby and spending time with family and friends.
