CHIRLA Student Legal Services department would like to invites students to their weekly initial Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) clinic for those who wish to apply for DACA for the first time. Their first initial DACA clinic will take place on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The registration link is live now and the link for each following clinic will go live every Monday that follows at 9 am. The link will be closed as soon as they have 25 participants. Participants will be emailed a Zoom link to a mandatory orientation that will take place every Wednesday at 3 pm.
The technological requirements to serve the student effectively are as follows:
- Access to a smart device, computer, that has access to the internet
- Reliable internet connection that works with Zoom
- Ability to use docusign, adobe ‘sign & fill’, or other electronic signature feature
- Ability to submit documents via email
- Ability to open PDF’s with Adobe

Please keep in mind that the slots will fill up quickly. Students are advised to be on exactly at 9 am. If students are unable to secure a spot, they are encouraged to also sign up the following Monday at 9 am using the same link (Initial DACA Clinic Registration) or to schedule an individual general consultation to be screened by a CHIRLA accredited representative or attorney.
