The International Languages and International and Diversity Student Council invite you to join them for a presentation titled, The Impact of Black Music on the World on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 7 pm.  They will present the Black influence on Arab music, Ismael Rivera from Puerto Rico and his influence on salsa, Josephine Baker Black's music impact in France, jazz and hip hop, Pablo Milanés, Afrocuban influence on protest music, Margaret Bonds, Errollyn Wallen from Belize, Nfeiru Okoye from the USA and Nigeria, and Black female classical composers and activists.
