Sociology/Gerontology Department presents: Brain Health and Financial Abuse Workshop

The Sociology/Gerontology Department presents a workshop on Brain Health and Financial Abuse: What You Need To Know on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 12 to 1:30 pm in SSC 212. 

The workshop will include three speakers and topics. Beverly Sanborn, Senior VP of Program Development at Belmont Village, will share a brief overview of how to keep the brain healthy and signs of normal and abnormal memory loss, Minki Nozaki, Director of Senior Medicare Patrol, will discuss financial abuse and popular scams and lastly, Nicole Major, Program Coordinator for the Saddleback College Aging Studies (Gerontology) Program, will provide a brief overview of the certificates offered and career opportunities available in the field of aging. 

This workshop is open to students, staff, and faculty. Refreshments will be served.
