Computer Maintenance involves the installation, upkeep, repair and security of computer equipment and networks. This is a growing field since businesses rely on computers for employees to do work and run the company. Become a computer technologist or computer technician with hands on training from industry professionals in less than 2 years. The course prepares students to pass the A+ Certification Exam.
With further experience and education there are opportunities to become IT Professionals, Programmers, and Network Architects.

Computer Maintenance Technology Certificate

Completion of the certificate program and a minimum of 60 units including the general education requirements with an overall GPA of 2.0 qualifies the student for the Associate in Science degree. A minimum of 12 units must be completed at Saddleback College.
