One Book, One College

Join the Conversation!

One Book, One College (OB1C) is a shared college read designed to promote discussion and understanding of the broader issues we face, both locally and globally.  The program aims to create a community of readers and to engender a vibrant and engaging dialog on campus and beyond.

The book for One Book, One College is chosen each year by a group of faculty, staff, and students.  The spring 2018 selection is Undocumented:  A Dominican Boy's Odyssey from a Homeless Shelter to the Ivy League by Dan-el Padilla Peralta.

Throughout the spring semester, the college, along with our community partners, will sponsor a variety of events in conjunction with One Book, One College:  panel discussions, lectures, film showings, art installations, and theater presentations, among others, culminating in a guest speaker.

We hope that you will join us on this shared learning adventure.
