Virtual Family Night

Welcome to opportunity! Saddleback College invites high school seniors and their families to the 17th annual Family Night. This event is an opportunity to learn more about Saddleback College and its available programs and resources. 

Saddleback College’s Virtual Family Night will be held on Wednesday, December 02, 2020, from 6 to 8 pm via Zoom. RSVP at 2020 Saddleback College Family Night.  The zoom link will be made available as soon as you RSVP. You will also receive an email reminder before the event.

Breakout Sessions: Sessions are 25 minutes long and will repeat. The first one will begin at 7pm and the the second at 7:30pm.

Description:  Knowledge, skills and abilities give students the competitive advantage needed to excel in the new economy. Join this session for an informative Career Education overview with the college’s career experts.  They’ll share Orange County career trends, tips, and resources for getting ahead.

Title: Early College         

Description: Did you know high school students can earn early college credit, while still in High School?  There are several early college opportunities, all tuition free, that allow students the opportunity to explore interest areas and get a head start on college.  This session will explore many options that can be accessed as early as this Spring 2021!

Title: Financial Aid         

Description: Did you know that students can get Federal and State Financial Assistance to help them go to school? By filling out the FAFSA or Dream act applications this may be possible for you. This session will go over the different types of Federal, State and Scholarship options a student has by completing these applications.

Title: How to Choose a Major

Description:  This workshop will walk you through an overview of how to choose a major by using the Career and Re-Entry Center navigation page at We will explore the career planning process, research useful resources and free career systems to start the process of major and career exploration. This workshop will help you learn about how to align important life choices with educational and career research. Presentation will last approximately 25 minutes

Description: Want to get involved on campus but not sure where to start? Join the Student Development Office and the Associated Student Government as we provide an introduction to getting involved at Saddleback College. Campus involvement is a great way to develop leadership skills, make friends and enhance your Saddleback College experience. Learn about clubs, student government, campus activities, and other great ways to help you find your place, explore your passions, and get the most out of your experience at Saddleback College.
