Services During Campus Closure

Saddleback College Health Services will continue to be of service to you  during our current COVID-19 pandemic by providing you with opportunities for your physical, mental health, and social service needs including food distribution. Our websites are accessible 24/7 for additional resources you may well as a much needed sense of community and support during this challenging time.

We have several options available for you to continue to be served including our Nurse Advice Phone Line and our new Tele-Health Virtual appointments.  As the COVID-19 pandemic progresses Saddleback College has moved to a more flexible, affordable and accessible care Tele-health platform where our patients can  receive care from the safety of their homes for both medical and psychological services.

Get Medical Advice When You Need It

We are now offering the Saddleback College Nurse Advice Line, 949-582-4606, staffed by experienced registered nurses from Monday through Thursday between 8 am and 5 pm. We are closed weekends and holidays. The nurse will ask a few questions and give you information to help you decide what to do next.

If you are a current patient needing refills on medication or advice from your health care provider call Saddleback Health Services at 949-582-4606. Your health is very important to us and we are doing our best to handle the volume of students we have been caring for at this time. Please bear with us if you experience longer than usual wait times. We appreciate your patience in order to provide you with the advice you need.

Our Tele-Health appointments are for our currently enrolled students. Appointments can be made by calling, 949-582-4606. While most appointments will be able to be completed via Tele-Health there will be a few exceptions that your health care provider will share with you when you call.

Food Resources -949-348-6260

We understand that our current situation has left some of you with limited resources and we are committed to helping our currently enrolled students through this time of uncertainty.  Saddleback College Health Services will continue to provide food resources through our Food Pantry every Wednesday by appointment only. If you are in need of basic food necessities please schedule an appointment to pick up food at our Medical Center entrance near the flagpole. Please schedule your appointment for food pick up before Tuesday 12 noon each week for Wednesday pick-up by appointment at 949-348-6260.

Student Health Center

The Student Health Center offers quality, confidential medical health care and psychological therapy for all currently enrolled students; who have paid their health fee. Seeing a physician, nurse or mental health therapist is always free (low cost fees apply to tests, labs, some procedures and filled prescriptions). The Student Health Center is a Family Pact and a LEA Medi-Cal provider. Students wanting reproductive health appointments should call or come in to make an appointment; complete the Family Pact Eligibility, along with the Consent for Treatment, PHQ9 and the Health Questionnaire.bring the completed application to your appointment, qualified students receive reproductive health services at no cost. The student health fee includes treatment for acute, short term illnesses, health education, referrals as needed, injuries, and general health screening, including women's health and mental health therapy.

Currently enrolled Students

who have paid their health fee may call or come in to The Student Health Center during the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM - M-Th and F 8AM to 3 PM (Closed holidays & weekends) to make an appointment. Urgent and emergent cases will be seen without an appointment

What you will need for your first appointment:

Once you have scheduled your first appointment please download and fill out the Consent Form, Health Questionnaire, PHQ9 and the Family Pact Application for Reproductive Health Patients(Qualifying students may be eligible for Free Services). There are 4 pages that must be completed before you may be seen at the Student Health Center. You may also arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment in order to complete necessary paperwork. *All information is confidential.

Obtaining Protected Health Documents: In order for Saddleback Student Health Center to release any protected health information a student must fill out and sign Saddleback Student Health Center's, Release of Protected Health Information. *Please allow 24 to 48 hours for all medical information to be processed. *All Mental Health Summaries require 7-10 business days.
