The Student Health Center nurses and doctors will address concerns and questions regarding birth control and sexually transmitted diseases. Doctors and nurses work with you on contraception options and to prevent pregnancies, educate, diagnose and treat Sexually Transmitted Diseases(STD's). Most STD's can be easily diagnosed and treated.
Having an honest and open talk with healthcare providers, about contraception and weather you should be tested for STDs is confidential, and important to your health and the prevention of spreading STD's. If you are infected, both you and your partner need to receive treatment at the same time to avoid getting re-infected. (Closed holidays & weekends) to make an appointment.
Urgent and emergent cases will be seen without an appointment.
